  • Angel Giving Tree

    The Angel Giving Tree fills the needs of those in our parish whose only Christmas gifts will come from us. This is a great parish-wide opportunity to help those in need.

  • Communion to the Homebound

    Eucharistic Ministers to the Sick receive the consecrated Host at the end of Mass and take it to the homebound, hospitalized, or members of the parish in local nursing homes. These Ministers of the Eucharist must receive special training. The minister shares Scripture, prays with the person receiving and often with their family, and gives him or her Communion. 
    Age Requirement: 16+ and Confirmed

  • Bereavement

    This ministry provides parishioners opportunities to serve as Lectors, Extraordinary Minsters of Holy Communion, Sacristans, or Cantors for a funeral liturgy. In addition, volunteers are needed to serve as bereavement mentors to provide follow up mentoring to families as needed.

  • Blood Drive

    St. Elizabeth typically hosts a blood drive twice a year to benefit the local Red Cross. This event is coordinated by the Knights of Columbus. In addition to blood donors, volunteers are needed to assist Red Cross staff with clean up, hospitality, and providing treats.

  • New Parishioner Outreach

    The New Parishioner Outreach Committee is a hospitality ministry. These volunteers plan and implement various activities to welcome new members to the parish.  The New Parishioner Outreach Committee typically meets periodically throughout the year and mentors meet on an as needed basis.

  • Family Meals

    This ministry provides dinner to members of the parish in need of assistance due to an illness or hospitalization. Volunteers are contacted on an as needed basis to provide meals on certain days and times.

  • Funeral Dinners

    A funeral dinner is served in the parish hall for those families who would like to gather with family and friends after a funeral service of a loved one. Volunteers provide a dish for dinner, make phone calls, help organize, set up, and/or clean up.

  • His Precious ones

    His Precious Ones Ministry is a peer support and outreach ministry for those facing or have previously suffered miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. Their mission is to provide accompaniment, tangible help, advocacy, and prayer support both at the time of loss, and in the future. Comfort boxes are prayerfully compiled for families currently experiencing this profound loss and are available at the Parish office.

  • Prayer Blanket Ministry

    The prayer blanket ministry works, prays, and shares social time together while making prayer blankets for the sick or those needing spiritual uplifting as well as baptismal blankets for the babies baptized in the parish. They meet the third Tuesday of the month, September through May from 1:00-3:00 pm.

  • Project Hope

    Project HOPE (Help Our Parishioners at st. Elizabeth) is a confidential assistance program provided to parishioners of St. Elizabeth who have fallen on hard tiems. This temporary assistance program is designed to help famlies with financial trouble. Project hope porides families with financial and job counseling, ministerial care, or family conuseling as needed or the fees incurred by these services.

  • Pro-Life Committee

    The Pro-Life Committee meets on a monthly basis to discuss ways to further the cause of protecting life at all stages. Volunteers are needed to help with the annual Mother's Day carnation sale, annual baby shower, annual sale of Poinsettias, and to stuff bulletins with legislative information. Volunteers are also needed to attend the meetings to help further brain storm ways to spread the message of life.

  • St. Augustine Men's Group

    St. Augustine Men's group helps men discover and embrace real freedom from the grip of sexual sin by healing and rebuilding their lives through faith, brotherhood, and honesty. During the bi-monthly meetings men are supported through a structure rooted in Catholic teaching, practical application, camaraderie, and authentic conversation. Through this process men can experience a renewed faith, a new sense of hope and conviction and better relationships with family and friends.

  • St. Paul Street Evangelization

    St. Paul Street Evangelization (SPSE) is a grassroots organization, dedicated to responding to the mandate of Jesus to preach the Gospel to all nations by taking the Catholic Faith to the streets. Christ’s call to evangelize was made to every Catholic Christian. As an on-the-street Catholic evangelization organization, St. Paul Street Evangelization provides an avenue for people to share the Person of Jesus Christ and the truth and beauty of the Catholic Faith with a hungry culture.
    Their mission is to train, equip, and mobilize Catholics for the urgent work of evangelization.

  • St. Vincent De Paul Society

    The mission of the St. Vincent de Paul Society is to provide support for the homeless and those in prison as well as for our own parishioners who find themselves without income or resources. Volunteers in this ministry access needs and coordinate the distribution of food, counsel, funds, and housing for those in need.
