Confirmation Sponsor information & Submission Form

Confirmation Sponsors must be:
- At least 16 years of age
- Has been baptized, received First Communion and Confirmation
- Is a registered member of a parish (this will be verified)
- An active Catholic who attends Sunday Mass regularly, prays and participates in the sacramental life of the Church
- If married, sponsor must have been married in the Catholic Church or have had their marriage blessed in the Catholic Church
- Someone other than the candidate's mother or father
Responsibilities of a Confirmation Sponsor:
- Have their parish complete and return all paperwork that is sent to them.
- Attend three candidate/sponsor meetings. A parent can substitute if sponsor is unable to be there.(tentative October, January and March)
- Attend Confirmation March 23, 2025 at 2:00 pm. If unable to attend, a parent or another Catholic can be a proxy.
- Pray for and with their candidate.
- Share their Catholic faith with their candidate.
