Students prepare for their First Communion beginning in First Grade and receive their First Communion in second grade usually at the end of April/first of May.
For family convenience, this meeting is held three different times. Choose the time that is most convenient for your family. The student receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion along with at least one parent/guardian must attend this meeting
The meeting will last approximately an hour and 15 minutes and it is held in the school cafeteria
At this meeting students and parents will receive information about the days of First Communion and Gathering Day. During the meeting, parents will indicate their preferred date of First Communion. Families will also receive materials to use at home to prepare their child for First Communion and the students will complete a project to be displayed in the Church at First Communion.
All students preparing for First Communion are invited to be welcomed by the parish after the homily of each of the Masses.
