Information For our Confirmation Students and their Sponsors
- Important Dates
  
  Student/Sponsor Meeting #1
  November 23 at 12:45 pm or 4:00 pm

  Confirmation Commitment at all Masses

  CONFIRMATION
  April 12 at 2:00 pm (students should plan to be in the school gym by 1:15 pm. Sponsors should be in their seats by 1:45 pm
- Service Hours
- All Confirmation students are required to turn in service hours. Confirmation calls each person to serve inside and outside the Church to further God's Kingdom.

Confirmation Details
- Confirmation Dress Code
  
  Girls: Dress or skirt outfit of modest length or dress pants
  No spaghetti straps, strapless dresses or halter tops
  No plunging necklines, open back dresses or bare midriffs
  No long formal dresses
  No flip flops or athletic shoes
  NO MAKEUP on your forehead
  
  Boys: Dress pants and dress shirt
  Dress shoes
  Tie (optional)
  Jacket (optional – about 80% wear jackets)
  NO athletic shoes
  
  INTERVIEWS: YOUTH FORMATION/RE STUDENTS
  Mid-February: link to sign up will be posted at a later date
- Important Times:
  
  Times
  Students should arrive in the school gym by 1:15 for a group picture and to get name tag, etc.
  Sponsors should be seated in the church 15 minutes before Mass begins.
  
  Photography:
  Pictures may be taken as the candidates are filing in, during the processional at the beginning of Mass and recessional at the end of Mass. You may take pictures during Confirmation but please do not leave your seat and/or use flash.
  There will be someone taking pictures of the individual candidates while they are being Confirmed. Those pictures will be made available online afterwards.
  After Confirmation, Bishop will be available in a designated place for individual pictures with your own camera. Please line up outside the Mother Seton room in the hallway by the nursery.
  
  Servers and Eucharistic Ministers are needed.
  If a sibling is interested in serving at Mass or if a parent/sponsor/friend is interested in being a Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion (preferably St. Elizabeth trained) please click here and email Sarah Bishop.
- Confirmation Retreat
- All confirmation Students are required to attend a Confirmation Retreat.
  
  Students have a choice of two dates:
  February 14 or February 21, 2026
  
  The retreat begins at 8:30am and ends after the 4:30 pm Mass
  
  There is a $25 fee for the retreat to cover the cost of the t-shirt, food, etc.

- Confirmation Sponsors
- Confirmation Students select their Confirmation Sponsor at the end of 7th grade. Sponsors should be someone that the student feels close enough to to talk about faith matters and is an example of living the Catholic Faith.
